ALL ABOUT GAMI

One of Wellington's biggest up and coming artists

Gami is no longer a stranger to the decks and venues around his hometown of Wellington in New Zealand. He's been mixing drum and bass at house parties, clubs, gigs and had his first festival performance since learning to spin last August. His sound has developed from just wanting to be better than a spotify playlist to seamlessly blending DnB anthems and harmonic doubles into some of the fastest paced and heaviest technical mixing you'll experience. Don't take him for just another roller mixing breather though, Gami's never afraid to take it down a notch and get emotional with the crowds. He takes inspiration from the likes of Andy C, Koven, Wilkinson, Delta Heavy and Hybrid Minds just to name a few. You'll find these artists come out in his mixing style and his tune selection. He's also taken to learning the art of the turntablist and began producing in 2021 as well. Keep your eyes on him while he stays focused on playing the biggest festivals stages around the country and eventually the world.
